Payment and cancellation policy:

Bookings will only be confirmed if full billing and contact details are provided at the time of booking and subject to free capacity.

When confirming a booking, we ask for a 30% deposit which is due within 3 days following the confirmation, after which we reserve the right to cancel the booking. The remaining part of the accommodation fee is due 14 days prior to arrival. In case of last-minute bookings made within 14 days of arrival, the full accommodation fee is due immediately upon confirmation of the booking.

In case a multi-day reservation is cancelled within 14 days of arrival (30 days during the summer school break) a penalty equal to 50% of the total accommodation fee will be invoiced to the name and address provided at the time of booking. In the case of one-night reservations the penalty will equal the total accommodation fee.

In case of free cancellations, the accommodation fee will be refunded minus a 5% handling fee to cover the transaction costs. An invoice will be provided of the handling fee.

If a booking is cancelled but we receive a new booking from another guest for the same period and with similar parameters, we will waive the penalty or invoice the guest who cancelled only the difference between the accommodation fees of the cancelled and completed bookings.

A change of dates is free of charge during the penalty-free period. The fee for changing the date of a booking within the penalty period will be the same as the penalty charged in the case of cancellation. However, we will waive the penalty (or only invoice the difference) in this case, too, if we receive a new booking with similar parameters to the cancelled reservation.

The operators of the accommodations listed on our website have the right to offer discounted accommodation rates compared to the prices shown on our pages. They also have the right to impose different (stricter) conditions for bookings with such discounted accommodation rates (e.g. longer penalty periods or greater than 50% penalty rates).

If a lower accommodation fee is offered in exchange for non-cancellable reservations, the full amount of the accommodation fee is due immediately upon confirmation of the booking and such reservations cannot be cancelled or a penalty of 100% of the accommodation fee will be invoiced to the booker.
