Matróz-lak, which translates into Sailer’s cabin, is located on the ground floor of Kikötő Guesthouse (on the left side when viewed from the front). The apartment has two rooms, a large American kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. In the larger room, there are two single beds pushed together, which can also be pulled apart. In the smaller room, guests can sleep on a 160 cm wide double bed.

The American kitchen is equipped with a fridge that has a large freezer box at the bottom, a mini-oven, a microwave oven, a two-plate induction hob, a kettle and a coffee machine. A flat-screen TV allows you watch YouTube, Netflix and broadcasts that can be streamed in the internal browser via free WiFi, thus everyone can access their favorite content provider with their own account.

Matróz-lak has an air-conditioning device that can also heat the kitchen area. In the spring and autumn seasons, the rooms are quickly warmed up by electric heating panels. The ceiling height of the small room, kitchen and bathroom is approx. 190 cm, these rooms are barrier-free. The ceiling height of the great room is approx. 210 cm, you can enter here via a step downwards.

Matróz-lak can only be rented from weekend to weekend in the summer school break period from mid-June till the end of August with a minimum stay of 5 nights (e.g. from Friday to Sunday of the following week or from Monday to Saturday). From autumn throughout winter and during the spring, Matróz-lak can be booked principally for a minimum of 2 nights. In this period one-night stays will be allowed upon paying a 30% surcharge.

There is a covered car port for three vehicles in the garden of Kikötő Guesthouse and two more vehicles can park on the paved area in front of the guesthouse. Unfortunately, larger vehicles (trucks with a platform longer than three meters) cannot turn into the yard.

Guests of Matróz-Lak can use the fireplace in the garden and any of the two swings. It is also possible to grill, play badminton, play soccer, and darts. The guests of Kikötő Guesthouse can – for an additional fee – use the communal area called Canteen, which consists of a larger party kitchen and a dining room suitable for 13 people and a private toilet.

Prices from 1 January 2024:

For 1 or 2 persons during the summer school break and at New Year’s Eve: HUF 25.000/night, at other times for 1 person HUF 16.000/night, for 2 persons HUF 20.000/night.

For all further guests in all seasons HUF 6.000/night.

Our prices include no meal plan. The use of air-conditioning is free. Tapo water is safe to drink.

From September to mid-June (except for New Year’s Eve), single night stays are possible upon paying a 30% additional fee.

Children aged 3 to 14 get a discount of HUF 2.000/night from the 3rd guest in the group.

City tax as of 1 January 2023 is HUF 500/person/night (for guests aged 18 or older).

We can provide firewood for grilling and cooking in the garden at a price of HUF 2,000/occasion. We ask our guests to bring charcoal for grilling!
