The NOHAB Apartment is located at the foot of Badacsony, 9 km from Tapolca, and a three-minute walk from Badacsonytördemic-Szigliget train station. The bicycle path circling around Lake Balaton and the national blue hiking trail both pass in front of the house. A shop and a doctor’s office are within 200 meters of the apartment and there is a playground in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is 1.5 km from the waterfront in Badacsonylábdihegy and 4 km from Szigliget beach, with a direct bus service 5-6 times a day. The buffets and wineries of Badacsony as well as the pier and Badacsony beach can be reached by a five-minute train ride, and the mountaintop with the lookout tower can be reached by an hour and a half’s walk.

Opened in 2012, our newly built, fully equipped, non-smoking apartment is suitable for one person, a couple or – with the use of an extra bed – a family of three. Children must be aged 8 years or older. (For families with smaller children, we recommend to use one of our three other guesthouses.) The apartment is recommended for one or two-week vacations, but it can also be used for one-night or week-end stays from autumn to spring. The minimum booking period during the summer school holidays is 5 nights.

Free WiFi is available in the apartment and in the garden, and about 70 channels can be watched on satellite TV free of charge. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen.

The garden, which is free to use by our guests, there is a large, shady walnut tree and a fireplace. The garden can also be used for sunbathing, cooking, playing and you can even smoke here. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets.

In addition to air conditioning and an extra electric heating panel in winter, the apartment’s large tiled stove can also be used to provide pleasant warmth. As an official tour guide and an individual with winemaking experience, we are happy to recommend something from the attractions of the area, whether it be wine tasting, a castle visit, fishing, sailing or hot air ballooning!

Outside the summer school holidays (except for bookings including New Year’s Eve): 1 pers. €39/night, 2 pers. €59/night, 3 pers. €75/night.

During the summer school break (mid June till end of August) and for bookings including New Year’s Eve: 1 or 2 pers. €69/night, 3 pers. €89/night. Minimum reservation 5 nights in summer and 2 nights for New Year’s Eve!

Single night surcharge (September till mid-June): 30%.

For stays of 4 nigts or longer between November and mid-March (except for bookings including New Year’s Eve), we offer a 10% discount!

Children aged 8-14 will receive a discount of €5/night.

City tax for people aged 18 or above is €1.25/night.

Firewood for cooking or heating the ceramic fireplace: €5/day.
